Delete Your MeYou Account

This page applies to the “Meyou- Live Talk & Video Call” app by COMPASS DIGITAL and explains how users can request deletion of their MeYou account and associated data.

How to Request Deletion

  1. Open the MeYou app and go to your profile screen.
  2. Tap the Delete Account option on your profile screen.
  3. A confirmation popup will appear to let you know that your account deletion request has been received and will be processed within 72 hours.
  4. If you cannot access the app, send an email to support@meyouapp.com with the subject line “Delete My MeYou Account”.
  5. In the email, include the mobile number registered with your MeYou account and, if available, your registered email address.
  6. Mention whether the request is for a user account or an expert account so our team can identify the correct profile.
  7. If needed, we may ask for limited verification information before processing the deletion request to protect against unauthorized account removal.

What Will Be Deleted

  • Profile details such as name, phone number, email, avatar, bio, and preferences
  • Authentication access associated with the app account
  • Follow, block, and push-notification token data associated with the account
  • Other account-linked data that is no longer required for service delivery or legal compliance

What May Be Retained

Certain limited records may be retained after account deletion where needed for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, safety and moderation investigations, taxation, or payment reconciliation.

Where retention is required, the retained records are kept only for the period reasonably necessary to satisfy those obligations.

Examples can include transaction records, withdrawal records, abuse reports, and other records that we are required or reasonably permitted to retain under applicable law.
